Years of scheduling data is exactly why you can't switch apps — so we import it. Every card keeps its earned maturity: mature words come due on their own schedule, not from zero. Anki stays excellent; your reps just become portable.

Export the right way (2 minutes)

   On desktop Anki: File → Export

   Choose “Anki Deck Package (.apkg)”. AnkiMobile and AnkiDroid exports work too.

   Tick “Include scheduling information”

   This is the box that brings your review progress. Without it, words import as new.

   Get the file to your phone

   AirDrop, Files, or any cloud drive.

   In 爱Chinese: Profile → Import your flashcards

   Pick the file, check the preview (words found, progress kept), confirm. ~30 seconds.

Honest limits

• Your words and their review progress come across. Audio and custom note layouts don’t.
• Words our dictionary can’t resolve are skipped — and listed, so you know exactly what.
• Shared decks downloaded from the internet carry no study history — progress preservation is for decks you actually studied.
• Nothing is written to your account until you confirm the preview.
